Professional 16 Channel Digital Video Recorder with MPEG4 Compression, GPRS Support and DVD Backup

If this were just a digital video recorder with inbuilt 16 channel multiplexer it would be impressive enough. But there are so many advance features built into this unit that it could become the hub of a truly sophisticated video monitoring and recording system. Video quality can be set to four different levels to optimise either recording time or image quality. The recorder can be connected to a computer via an onboard Ethernet connection. Once connected to a network, the recorder can be accessed via multiple users using standard web browsers from anywhere with web access. Users have access to recorded images and system setup options as well as PTZ functions with PELCO D compatible equipment. The system also supports GPRS access via GPRS enabled mobile phones. Recording can be initiated with a variety of trigger inputs such as PIRs & door switches, etc or you can set the system to respond to movement in selected areas of the camera image or a specified time of the day using the inbuilt timer. Trigger alerts can be emailed to specified email addresses or uploaded to FTP sites. Up to two internal hard drives may be installed with capacities up to and beyond 400GB each. An optional disk array is available and provides terabytes of additional storage. Each camera input can be assigned a six letter title. There are four audio inputs, and two audio outputs. Video loss detection is built in on all channels and video signals can be independently adjusted. This is a truly professional recorder.
